How accurate is the BALTANY automatic watch?

Mechanical movements are less accurate than quartz movements, as there are many more "physical" technical components at play.

All of our watches are adjusted before shipment to ensure that they are operating within the movement manufacturer's accuracy specifications.


What are the factors that affect the accuracy of a watch's travel time?

There are many factors (temperature, activity, power, etc.) that will vary performance over any day.

Insufficient Power Reserve

As the watch's charge runs down (especially below 1/2 of its power reserve), the accuracy will change. In order to ensure that you're getting a true depiction of your watch's accuracy, ensure that you wind it 20-30 turns before measuring timekeeping.

Damaged From Impact

A watch may run fast or slow if the balance of a watch may be damaged from impact - this will require adjustment by a watch maker.

If your watch begins to run very fast (minutes per day), then it has likely become magnetized. This is not uncommon, as magnetic fields are all around us - this could occur from exposure to speakers, cell phones, computers, or a variety of other conditions. The process of demagnetizing (removing magnetization) is a relatively simply process that can be done by watchmakers at an affordable cost.


Why Quartz Watches Have Second Hand Calibration Deviation

What if I receive a defective watch?

We check all our watches before we send them out but If the watch arrived in unsatisfactory condition and/or the movement proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, we will repair or replace your watch and deliver it to you at our cost.


Is Worldwide Shipping FREE?

We can ship for free in most countries and regions in the world. If the website requires you to pay the shipping fee when you place an order, there is no free shipping service in your area, usually because the international shipping fee to these countries is very expensive, you need to bear part of the shipping cost. We will give priority to choosing a more reliable and fast logistics delivery method for your order, so generally speaking, the logistics method is not specific and will vary according to the actual situation. For orders over $400, we can use FedEx for free delivery if you request, but only if they can provide the service locally. In areas where our carriers do not deliver, we reserve the right to use another carrier or cancel the order. We offer free shipping for all of your merchandises, and we'll ship your order via appropriate logistics method based on a selected and more suitable manner at your region. Will I be charged custom or import duties?

All prices stated on our website excludes VAT and/or fees for import/custom fees. Any customs or import duties are to be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We suggest you contact your local customs office for charges before you order.


I suspect my package is lost. What can I do?

If your mail did not arrive within the estimated time frame, do check the delivery status with the tracking number provided.

If your location is remote, it may take longer to reach.

If you have not received your package after 50 days, please email us at info@baltany.com and we will raise an investigation. Do note an investigation can only be raised 1 month after the package has been sent to make sure there is enough transit time for the mail to reach its destination country and clear customs before being delivered to the recipient. If the package is lost, we will contact you for a replacement or full refund on your order.
