About Hangzhou 5215A movement

This is a custom Hangzhou caliber commissioned by Baltany, not the off-the-shelf 5000A or 5015A. Upgrades include blued steel screws and rhodium-plated finishing. The date module was also removed. And since there's no date mechanism at all, no ghost date nonsense.

Each movement is adjusted to five positions at the factory—dial up, dial down, crown up, crown down, and crown left—to ensure accurate timekeeping across different wearing scenarios.

I have owned several microbrand watches, and the S4128 shows excellent attention to detail. The case finishing, sapphire crystal, customized movement, and dial craftsmanship are all impressive. Baltany is proving that affordable watches can still have character.

I wanted to try a micro-rotor watch without spending too much, so I decided to give the Baltany S4128 a try. I’ve been quite happy with it so far. It’s lightweight and comfortable on the wrist, and the movement runs smoothly. I also really enjoy being able to see the small rotor working through the caseback. Overall, it’s been a nice watch to wear.

I own several vintage-inspired watches, but the Baltany S4128 really stands out. The small seconds dial combined with the radial textured MOP dial gives it a very special vintage character. The micro-rotor movement is the highlight — slim, beautifully finished, and you can actually appreciate it through the exhibition caseback. A fantastic Retro Micro-Rotor Auto Watch for collectors who want something different.

The S4128 is exactly what I was looking for. It is elegant without being flashy. The 38mm case fits perfectly under my shirt cuff, and the thin profile makes it very comfortable all day. The black dial version looks amazing with a suit. The finishing quality is much higher than expected at this price.
