300M Waterproof Retro Military Style Dive Watch S3026

Firstly, let me qualify my review by stating that I buy and collect a lot of watches from many price points. This is my first Baltany watch. First impressions regarding the quality of the packaging and presentations are really excellent. You get a correctly completed 24 month international warranty card. (Rare in my experience, both the length of warranty and the the fact that it is properly stamped), with a branded soft micro cleaning cloth and a multilingual instruction booklet, all contained in a smart easy to open, classy box. The watch itself is contained within the box, in a nicely made real leather wallet style pouch with easy to use closure. I have purchased other Chinese brands, and immediately Baltany are head and shoulders above them, on the presentation and packaging alone. This is even better than you get from some mid-tier Swiss brands. The watch itself is so good, at this price point, that I am left constantly wondering and how they do it. It cost me €235 delivered to my home in France, in a week, and honestly the quality is simply outstanding. Hard to believe. Case is beautifully finished, everywhere. The bezel action is smooth and definite with no back play. The bezel lines up perfectly. The dial and handset is crisp, quite minimalist, and the lume is excellent and consistently applied everywhere. The crown action is buttery smooth and screws down with an immediate take-up. They have really nailed the retro look as well. The NH38 Seiko calibre is proven, robust and reliable, and correct with a no-ghost position, as this model doesn't have a date window. More expensive for Baltany to manufacture, rather than adapting an NH35, but great attention to detail and appreciated. It is running at plus 11seconds per day, straight out of the box, and I expect it to improve with regular wear, but this is already pretty good! The actual execution of the watch is quite honestly 100% perfect: I couldn't find fault with it. It's incredible what Baltany are doing at this price point. If you're on the fence or unsure, then don't be, order with every confidence, if this is the style of watch you like. You will not be disappointed. The only area where I would recommend a change is the thin'ish leather strap it comes with. Not commensurate with the quality of the watch itself in my humble opinion. I threw mine straight on an all black NATO, and it quite simply now looks awesome! It is crying out for a NATO strap-look, and that is then only thing I feel could be improved by Baltany. Straps are subjective I know, but a NATO is not expensive as an option I think. Quite where I go from here with buying watches I don't know, as this has really given me food for thought. If Baltany can make a retro style diver this good, for this little money, why can't more of the competition do the same? Do carry on the amazing work you are doing. You are a breath of fresh air in the watch manufacturing industry-outstanding value and quality for money. BRAVO!

This watch is incredible! Love everything about it. Size, weight, design, finish, lume, bezel click, wrist presence and quality. Shipping was fast. QC is great. Seller is superb. Highly recommended watch brand and seller. I put on a green/yellow MN strap on the watch today and it feels awesome. The MN strap matches the watch dial and the lume pip on the bezel.
