Baltany S4105 - A Symphony of Color and Craft

Baltany’s design team had long wanted to create a watch that blends vintage charm with bold, modern color. After several rounds of color testing and revisions, we finally launched the S4105 — a timepiece inspired by the unique glaze of Jian Zhan pottery, combined with a classic Oyster Perpetual–inspired shape.Let’s take a closer look at the S4105.

Bracelet and Clasp Details

The bracelet is crafted from solid 316L stainless steel, featuring a brushed satin finish on the top and sides that gives off a subtle, refined luster, paired with mirror-polished bevels for contrast.The two-button push clasp has a brushed satin body and a finely engraved Baltany logo, with smooth, deburred edges and a comfortable curved underside. It offers four micro-adjustment holes for precise fitting.

The bracelet’s taper and profile are thoughtfully designed — slender links of even thickness provide smooth articulation without stiffness, rattling, or unwanted play. It wears comfortably without pulling arm hair.

The end links use female pivots that perfectly match the lug curvature and sit slightly recessed for a snug, natural wrist fit. The connection is tight and precise, with no lateral or longitudinal looseness, ensuring a solid and seamless feel on the wrist.

Case and Bezel

At Baltany, we put a great deal of effort into perfecting the S4105’s case design — not just in its shape, but in every curve, polish, and tactile detail.The case is made from solid 316L stainless steel, taking inspiration from the Rolex Oyster Perpetual’s flowing silhouette. Instead of straight slab sides, the flanks are beautifully curved and convex, with deep undercuts that make the case appear slimmer and more refined on the wrist.For finishing, our team spent countless hours fine-tuning the textures. The flanks are fully mirror-polished to a flawless sheen, while the tops of the lugs feature a fine-grained satin brushing that highlights the watch’s contour. The large polished bevels along the undercuts not only add visual depth but also remove any sharp edges for superior comfort.The flat bezel — a deliberate design choice — contrasts elegantly with the soft fillet edge of the sapphire crystal, giving the watch a balanced and modern presence. Both the top and edge of the bezel are mirror-polished to catch the light beautifully from any angle.The screw-down crown, also made of solid 316L stainless steel, features a precisely machined coin edge with a large chamfer for easy grip. We engraved it with our signature Baltany “B” emblem, and we ensured that the threading feels silky smooth, with no grit or resistance — comparable to Rolex’s Twinlock feel. The size is perfectly judged: secure to operate but never digs into the wrist.The caseback continues the same level of craftsmanship — CNC lathe-machined with concentric finishing and a coin-edge circumference that’s fully deburred for smoothness. It’s flat and low-profile, a remarkable feat given the 200m water resistance and NH38 movement inside. We chose to keep it sterile and unengraved, for a clean look and maximum comfort against the skin.In short, every millimeter of the S4105 case reflects our dedication to timeless design, premium finishing, and wrist comfort.

Dial and Hands

We started with perfect symmetry. The dial features bold triangular applied indices at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, giving the watch both character and high legibility, while the slimmer beveled indices at other positions create a smooth rhythm around the dial.

Our printing process is another area where we refused to compromise. Using high-definition pad printing techniques, we achieved razor-sharp clarity even on the textured surface. The minute ticks are precisely aligned and slightly larger at each hour marker, while the font remains thin, clean, and sharply printed — a standard we benchmarked against the quality levels seen in Rolex and Omega dials.The text layout was intentionally minimalist — only the Baltany logo at 12 o’clock and “Automatic 660ft / 200M” at 6 o’clock, keeping the dial clean, balanced, and free from clutter.The hands are faceted, mirror-polished, and gracefully tapered, rather than flat batons. Their proportions were meticulously adjusted to extend close to the markers, offering both visual balance and functional clarity.Finally, the applied indices are multi-faceted and mirror-polished to the standard of Grand Seiko craftsmanship, with crisp beveled edges that shimmer subtly under changing light.In short, the S4105’s dial isn’t just a face — it’s a reflection of Baltany’s pursuit of depth, precision, and timeless elegance, where every reflection, proportion, and texture was purposefully designed to bring the watch to life.

Color Choice
